- Description
- Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is seeking sources to provide for the housing, safety, security, health and welfare of vulnerable populations, including migrants at the Migrant Operations Center (MOC) at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (GTMO) The facility will have an estimated daily population of 20 people from vulnerable populations, including migrants, with a capacity of 130. A contractoer shall be prepared for surges in population of up to an additional 400. A total of 530 people can be housed at the facility during a surge in population. The contractor will need to have prior experience in dealing with the issues of vulnerable populations, including migrants, covering housing, safety, security, health and welfare issues. All contractors with an interest shall forward their capabilities' statement electronically via email to Paul Previch @ Paul.Previch@dhs.gov by October 20, 2010. A formal request for proposal outlining all requirements is scheduled to be posted on the Fedbizops webiste under this solicitation number. The Office of Acquisition Management for ICE has not received a completed proposal package. This package is not going to be posted under this solicitation number by December 2010. At this time an ETA for this to occur is TBD.
