- NAICS Code: 334516 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to award a sole source fixed-price purchase order under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Waters Corporation of Milford, MA for a comprehensiveone-year service plan for a Waters Q-Tof Premier MS System, the Waters Acquity HPLC (high performance liquid chromatograph), and the Waters 2695 HPLC which will include: full maintenance support, any necessary repairs using Waters replacement parts, provision of software updates, and an annual performance visit by a Waters certified field engineer. Waters Corporation is uniquely qualified to meet the described requirement as it is the original manufacturer of the aforementioned quipemnt and the only known vendor able to perform the aforementioned services with a local presence in Denver, CO. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROCUREMENT. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a capability statement, which if received within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this announcement will be evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
