- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N40442-11-T-7047, and it is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-45, effective 01 OCT 2010. NAICS code 811310 applies. The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program is not applicable. This is a small business set-aside. Military Sealift Fleet Support Command (MSFSC), Norfolk, VA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for USNS TIPPECANOE for the following parts: The requested period of performance for the above service is 12 January - 18 January 2011. Statement of Work: 1. Provide the services of a Hydraulics Rep to attend the vessel for seven (7) days on board for groom, testing and evaluation of the steering gear. 2. Replace pump seals and other system gaskets/o-rings within the hydraulic system. 3. Provide material required in accomplish of the above repairs. 4. Submit a report of findings and future recommendation for repair. Vessel Availability and Location: 12-18 January in Sriracha, Thailand Provide the Following information with your quote plus any additional information which is applicable to the statement of work. Any items that are not applicable please designate with N/A. LABOR: Contractor must provide a copy of published hourly/daily rates for documentation.
