- SCOPE OF WORK SPRINKLER SYSTEM REPAIR IROQUOIS JOB CORPS CENTER BID 2010-4 Written Bids to be submitted to Mary Jo McConnell; Purchasing agent, in person or by mail to the 11780 Tibbets Road, Medina, NY 14103 location no later than November 15, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. eastern standard time. All work shall be performed by a qualified fire alarm contractor in accordance witht he latest edition of the National Fire Alarm Code (NFPA 72, 2007) and New York State laws. Mandatory contractor site visit will be held on November 8, 2010 at 9:00 am. Location is 11780 Tibbets Road, Medina, NY 14103. All questions will be answered at this time. Contractor must supply copy of New York State licenses, three references, proof of insurances such as Workmans Compensation, professional Liability of $1 million/$1 million each occurrence, and the compaines DUNS number. Building #2 - Clemente - male dorm Relocate Sprinkler heads in men's shower room which are obstructed by light fixture, replace correoded heads in men's room, replace damaged heads outside rooms #2 and #13. Replace bushings with proper fittings in mechanical room. Replace missing escutcheons and lower heads as required. Replace gauges and add heads to spare head box. Add sprinklers to basement men's room, basement office, basement offices under soffits, hallway near basement toilet rooms and under stairs. Relocate heads in basement multi-purpose room and first floor outside RA office. Add heads under ductwork in mechanical room. Add heads to dorm room closets per NFPA-13. Building #26 Marshall & Brady Dorm Move sprinkler heaes because of obstructions in A1, B1, B2, C1 and D1 janitor closets and dental compressor room. Heads are improperly located in the copy room, supply room, intro to center life exit and maintenance room. Relocated heads to far walls. Add sprinkler heads to spare head box. Install escutcheon plates, replace system gauges, replace two inspector test valves and piping. Replace dmaged heads in building. Building #27 - Recreation Clean out Fire Dept. connections and replace caps. Relocate three heads in gymnasium storage room, replace upright head with a pendant head in library, replace head outside of library coated with a foreign substance. Replace inspector's test valve and system pressure gauges. Add coverage under duct work in the air make up room second floor. Building #16 - Welcome Center The panel in building #16 indicates ground fault from Building #2. Repair or replace signal wire if found to be at fault.
