- Description
- The DHS/NPPD/FPS intends to acquire security guard services, under full and open competition, for DEA HQ and Labs located in Virginia and Maryland. As an integral component of the FPS security effort, the contractor shall provide and maintain all management, supervision, manpower, training, equipment, supplies, license, permits, certificates, insurance, pre-employment screenings, reposts and files necessary to accomplish the requirement. The RFP shall require the submission of a technical proposal as well as a price proposal. All proposals received from industry will be evaluated using Best Value/ Trade-Off procedures. It is anticipated that the subject solicitation will be released to the FBO website on or about November 10, 2010. The security clearance required for this solicitation is TOP SECRET. The contractor must possess this security clearance level at the time their proposal is submitted (Estimated closing date is December 10, 2010). It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the website for the issuance of the RFP as well as any updates to the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR; www.ccr.gov ) and http://orca.bpn.gov for their Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) PRIOR to submittal of proposal.
