- The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Nuance, 3984 Pepsi Cola Drive, Melbourne, FL, 32934 under FAR 6.302 for a period of one year for a Dictaphone Dictation System Maintenance and Software Support to include (21)Dictaphone Telephone (0000421-000), (2)Kit License Seat Job Lister EN., (8) Kit SW,4 Port Actuation Voice, (1)SW Full-Exvoice V7.x Field-Ins, (1) SW Exvoice-Client V7.X Field-I, (3)PRT HW Universal PCI MFG Install, (1) SR VR-HW V-RSP G4-0DL380 2003 1G., (1) SRVR-HW Data G4-Dl380 2003 2uP, (5) Telephone W-Power Supply, (5) Hands Free Kit.This licensing support is proprietary to Nuance and no other existing licensing can be supplied because this requirement is an upgrade to an already existing system and there are no substitutes for this product. A delivery schedule will need to be coordinated and delivered NLT November 12, 2010. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Vendors who wish to identify their interest and capability to provide this type of licensing must provide literature that can meet or exceed the requirements above and notify this Contracting Officer at Bridget.Kornish@va.gov or by telephone, 412-822-3765 NLT November 5, 2010 at Noon EST. Upon receipt of the interested parties' notification, the Contracting Officer will determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement or proceed with sole source negotiations.
