- The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for a firm fixed-price purchase order for flame resistant clothing rental services. The NAICS Code is: 812332. This is an unrestricted solicitation and all offers from responsible concerns will be considered. RFQ #R11PS20025 will be posted to http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about November 2, 2010. The date for receipt of quotations will be approximately November 12, 2010. The solicitation must be downloaded at the above website; no paper copy of this solicitation will be distributed. Prospective contractors MUST be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov to be eligible for award. Questions concerning this solicitation should be directed to bmahoney@mp.usbr.gov. ____________________________________________Additional Requirement Details: The Contractor shall furnish and supply flame resistant (FR) clothing for approximately 25 employees. The FR clothing shall be in compliance with the NFPA 70E Safety Standard (National Fire Protection Association Safety Standards for Electrical Employees) Current Edition 2009 and the ASTM F 1506-08 (Standard Specifications for Protective Wearing Apparel for Use by Electrical Workers) Current Edition 2008.Weekly Cleaning/Delivery. Reclamation employees will return soiled clothing for weekly cleaning. The Contractor shall pick-up and deliver clothing between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. to the designated delivery locations in the Keswick Power Plant. The Contractor shall conduct a weekly inspection of each garment returned for cleaning. The Contractor shall maintain the garments in good order by inspecting and ensuring that they are free of any defects such as, holes, tears, fabric defects, spots, uneven dyeing, loose or missed stitches, or anything else that would affect the appearance, usefulness, or serviceability.
