- A solicitation is expected to be released on approximately 30 November 2010 for a 100% Small Business Set-Aside, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), five (5) year Requirements Contract for the following items: M260 Rocket Launcher (7 Tube), National Stock Number (NSN): 1055-01-070-9113, Part Number (PN) 13048750; and M261 Rocket Launcher (19) tube, NSN 1055-041-071-0064, PN: 13048850. The M260 Rocket Launcher and the M261 Rocket Launcher are lightweight aluminum rocket launchers capable of launching the Hydra-70 2.75-Inch Family of Rockets. A first Article Test (FAT) is required, FOB is Origin. The solicitation, as well as any amendments, will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and FAR 5.102. As a result, hard copies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet at http://fedbizopps.gov. It is, therefore, incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposal may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a proposal are instructed to request it by submission of an email request to: elaine.bailey@us.army.mil. Any requests should contain the following information: CAGE CODE, Company Name, Point of Contact, Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, and Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the internet.
