Description

SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS For LAND MOBILE RADIO (LMR) SYSTEM & TOWER SUPPORT The Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command is seeking veteran owned small business sources that are capable of providing LMR and tower support to Command units located worldwide. Each unit's needs are specific and varied which will require the source to be experienced with a variety of radio equipment and platforms. This synopsis seeks the following capabilities (but not limited to): LMR and/or tower system experience that encompasses turn-key or stand-alone support related to engineering, integration, installation, training, logistics and life cycle sustainment. Commercial or OEM certifications held. Level and type of repair work authorized. Interested sources should provide a narrative response limited to 5 pages in length. Please remit to MAJ Richard Pfeiffer @ richard.pfeiffer@us.army.mil not later than 1600hrs (CST) on 27 Dec 2010. All submitted information becomes property of the Government and will not be returned. This synopsis is for informational purposes only (FAR 52.215-3). The Government does not intend to issue drawings, specifications or solicitation for this effort. Respectfully, all submitted information will be handled IAW applicable markings and regulations. Be advised that this request does not constitute an obligation upon the Government to pursue any follow-on contract action, in part or whole, with current or potential vendors. Questions may be submitted in writing (email) to the above address not later than 13 Dec 2010. The Government reserves the right to answer on an individual basis only.
