W58RGZ-10-R-0559 ***ATTENTION***ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: Roberta Bodine, Contract Specialist, email; roberta.bodine@us.army.mil. No telephone calls will be accepted, PRON: AX0F0829AX; NOUN: Heater, Aircraft; NSN: 1660-01-572-0894; P/N: 70070-95151-011; Min quantity of 100 each and maximum quantity of 500 each for a five year firm fixed price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract applicable to UH-60 with deliveries to Red River Army Depot, TX. Required delivery is 100 each 275 Days After Contract Award (DACA) and up to 100 each year until contract completion. This requirement is restricted to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (CAGE Code: 78286), because the design of this part is unstable. Engineering, manufacturing, or performance characteristics indicate that the required design objectives have not been achieved. Major changes are comtemplated because the part has a low process yield or has demonstrated marginal performance during tests or service use. These changes will render the present part obsolete and unusable in its present configuration. Limited acquisition from the present source is anticipated pending configuration changes. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
