- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation announcement for RFP SP4500-11-R-0002, which will be a proposed service contract for the removal, transportation and disposal of RCRA, non-RCRA, CGCs, PCBs and other hazardous waste from the DLA Disposition Services - Bragg/Lejeune/Cherry Point. The resulting contract will be a single, performance-based, firm-fixed, IDIQ contract. The NAICS code is 562211. The contract will be for an 18-month base period and two 18-month option periods. The synopsis will include the description, identify the option to extend services for up to six months (under FAR 52.217-8), along with the two 18-month option periods to extend the term of the contract (under FAR 52.217-9), as described in FAR 5.207, and in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(11). The action will be a competitive small business set-aside contract. Performance will be directed by the issuance of individual written deliver orders against the contract. The solicitation is estimated to be issued on December 16, 2010, with a closing of January 16, 2011. +Qualification: Prospective contractors must possess a demonstrated ability to perform the required types and volume of services in accordance with all Federal, State and Local Laws, ordinances and regulations governing environmental protection and the transportation and disposal of hazardous waste and materials. In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION, prior to contract award the awardees must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Register.
