- Amendment 0001: This notice is hereby amended to correct paragragh 4 of the Sources Sought Notice to read the following: Your response is required by December 2, 2010 at 10:00am EST. ///////////////////////////////////Nothing Else Follows////////////////////////////// Sources Sought Notice: The United States Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center is considering whether or not to set aside an acquisition for Sole Source contract to Welin Lambie, LTD. The contract is expected to be awarded on or about December 6, 2010 with a required delivery date of December 23, 2010. The estimated price for this availability is between $25,000.00 and $39,000.00.The NAICS Code is 333923, the size standards 500 employees. Award will be made in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all responses received within 3 days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. The scope of this acquisition is to develop a step by step detailed lay up procedure for long term 6-11 month procedures to lay up a Welin Lambie Davit. Procedures must include by are not limited to: System operation checks; powering down both the electrical and hydraulic systems, securing the electrical components; securing mechanical equipment; develop control check list and post lay up procedures to put the davit back in service. Contractor shall supply one (1) copy of procedures on CD and provide two (2) hard copies in binders by December 23, 2010. supply 270 Reverse Osmosis parts for the USCG 270 WMEC cutters as follows: At the present time, this acquisition is expected to be issued as a Sole Source contract. However, if you believe your company can provide step by step detailed lay up procedures to lay up a Welin Lambie Davit, please respond and include the following: (a) a positive statement of your intent to submit a bid for this solicitation as a prime contractor; (b) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers; (c) past performance references with points of contact and phone numbers. At least two (2) references are requested, but more are desirable. Please respond by e-mail to tara.m.holloway@uscg.mil. Questions may be referred to Tara M. Holloway at (757) 628-4754. Your response is required by December 2, 2010 at 10:00pm EST. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made.
