- Unprotected EXCEL bid schedule Brand Name Justification This requirement is issued unrestricted. This acquisition is conducted utilizing the solicitation procedures set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13. The Defense Logistics Agency has a requirement for Network Appliance (NetApp) hardware, software, incidental software maintenance and incidental software training. Specific part numbers, item descriptions and corresponding quantities are listed in the attached EXCEL bid schedule spreadsheet. A copy of the executed brand name justification is also included with this FEDBIZOPS announcement. Questions concerning this request for quotation shall submit in writing to David.Straughn@dla.mil to arrive no later than 9 a.m. Eastern Time, Thursday, December 9, 2010. Questions submitted or arriving after the stated time will NOT be answered or subsequently addressed in a formal amendment to the request for quotation. All hardware must be in new and unused condition. Quotations predicated upon reconditioned or remanufactured items (as defined at FAR 11.001) are technically unacceptable and are ineligible for award. Items 0001-0012: Inspection, acceptance and F.O.B. Destination, Battle Creek, Michigan. Required delivery date for all items listed in Items 0001 through 0012 is no later than 30 days after award. The period of performance for Items 0013-0014 is no later than 180 days after contract award. Commercial packing and packaging to insure safe arrival at destination applies to all hardware and software line items. The single evaluation factor for award is lowest priced, technically acceptable. Receipt of your quotation is due no later than 11 a.m. Eastern Time, Monday, January 3, 2011. Submit quotations via e-mail to David. Straughn@dla.mil. Place RFQ # SP4707-10-Q-0012 in the SUBJECT line of the e-mail. Quotations may be submitted via facsimile to (269)961-4226. Prospective offerors are reminded of their duty to monitor FEDBIZOPS for possible future amendments and for award information. No telephone calls accepted at any time.
