- The North Atlantic Regional Contracting Office, Ft. Eustis, Virginia is currently seeking sources for a service requirement for ambulance services at the McDonald Army Health Center (MCAHC), an Army Medical Treatment Facility located in Fort Eustis, Virginia. This is a Sources Sought Notice only. Solicitations are not available at this time. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 621910 (Size Standard: $7.5 million). It is anticipated that the period of performance will be for one base period, plus four 1-year option periods. The Government contemplates the procurement will be solicited utilizing full and open competition. Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. All information submitted in response to this notice is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Contractor shall furnish all personnel, labor, uniforms, training, materials, equipment, vehicles, supervision and other items or services (except as specified as Government furnished) required to manage and provide ground emergency medical services, and patient transportation services on a 24-hour per day basis, as required for the service area of MCAHC. This is a non-personal service that shall be provided in accordance with Virginia State Laws, Federal Laws, and Army Regulations. Contractor must meet the required minimum experience requirements. Contractor corporate experience requires that the firm has gained experience in providing ambulance services as a result of being regularly engaged in the business of providing ambulance services in healthcare/patient care environments (e.g. emergency medical services, patient transport both local and non-local). The minimum level of acceptable experience required is 24 months within the previous 36 months from the date initially established for submission of proposals. Contractors responding to this sources sought notice are also requested to provide the North Atlantic Regional Contracting Office with capability statements, which need to include at a minimum: -Company Name -Point of Contact Name and Number -Business Status (8(a), Small Hubzone, Woman-owned, etc.) -Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code -Capabilities statement should address all required information requested in description above -Capabilities statement should be submitted via e-mail to the following: Rita.Y.Ware@amedd.army.mil no later than 3:00 p.m. eastern standard time (EST) on Monday, 3 January 2011.
