- EVEAH A&A Support Services RFI Questions and Answers (Q&A) 1. Are the five focus areas for FY10 cited on pg. 2 of the PWS still the same focus areas for FY11? If not, what are the changes? EVEAH's priorities for FY11remain the five focus areas described in the PWS. "Five focus areas for FY10 are: proactive outreach efforts, system redesign efforts, strategies targeting Veterans residing in rural areas, strategies targeting women Veterans, and transportation for immobilized and remote Veterans. Overall accountability for the EVEAH initiative rests with the Principal Deputy Under Secretary of Health (PDUSH) and the Office of Healthcare Transformation (OHT)." 2. The PWS' Section 4.1 states that "most of the [contractor's] efforts will be performed at the contractor's facilities." What approximate percentage of this work effort matches with "most?" The Government estimates approximately 80 percent of the contractor's efforts will be performed at the contractor's facilities. This number represents the overall EVEAH program, with individual projects varying. 3. The PWS' Section 4.2 states "Include estimated travel costs in your firm-fixed price line items." Can the VA provide some baseline information to help bidders calculate the estimated travel costs as part of their firm-fixed price submissions? Industry is reminded that this is a request for information only not a request for proposals. When the RFP is released the Government will provide an estimated number of trips for travel costs. 4. The PWS' Section 5.1.6 a) states that "The Contractor shall maintain a structured repository for Government and Contractor developed official program documentation." Does this repository already exist and if so, can the VA provide some information about this repository? EVEAH projects utilize a SharePoint infrastructure provided by OI&T. 5. The RFI instructions for "Section 2" imply that if a company is a small business, then it is required to have a "Section 2" in its RFI response. Likewise, if a company is not a small business, then it is not required to submit a "Section 2." Should a non-small business, in its RFI response, provide a "Section 2" page with the only text on that page being "Not applicable?" Regardless of a company's size, should the "Section 2" page still include Business size, DUNS number, CAGE Code, and NAICS information? Can the VA please clarify how it wants this section addressed based on these questions? Non-small businesses are not required to provide any information listed in section 2.
