- This is a notice of intent for sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open competition (FAR 6.302-1). A solicitation will not be issued. The associated NAICS code is 721110. The Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Northern Capital Region (NCR), Quantico, VA intends to award a sole source contract to Hilton Chicago, 720 S. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL., for a requirement to provide conference space, internet access, audio/visual and power for Marine Corps FY11 Music Leadership Symposium. Hilton Chicago is the only source that will satisfy the agency requirement as this Music Leadership Symposium is being held in conjunction with the Midwest Clinic (an international band and orchestra conference)being held at the same venue. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes that it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the contracting officer. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
