- Description
- The VISN 22 Network Contracting Activity (NCA), Long Beach, California intends to negotiate a firm fixed-price commercial item, FAR 13.5 test procedures Sole Source procurement, with Abbott Vascular 3200 Lakeside Dr., Santa Clara CA 95054 for commercial consignment of FDA approved Stents. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, and incorporates clauses and provisions as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-46. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339113 with the small business size standard of 500 Employees. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. Items shall be provided to the VA Long Beach Healthcare System (VALBHS) located at 5901 East Seventh Street, Long Beach, CA 90822. Delivery terms shall be FOB Destination to the VALBHS. The Government is requesting for the following items: Xience V Everolimus; Vision RX Cobalt Chromium Multi-Link; Voyager RX Dilitation; This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government shall consider all proposals received by 12:00 noon, Pacific Standard Time December 14, 2010. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries shall be accepted.
