- RFQ for Transitional Housing Services for Federal Defendants/Offenders to be provided in the San Bernardino area. The United States Probation Office, Central District of California, intends to procure transitional housing services for Federal defendants/offenders, using competitive purchase orders, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. 3154 and 3672, the Second Chance Act (Public Law No. 110-119) and the Judicial Administration and Technical Amendments Act of 2008 (Public Law No. 110-406). A contract or Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) may be awarded to provide transitional/reentry services for Federal defendants/offenders supervised by the US Probation Office. A fixed price award from this Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be made based on lowest-priced, technically-acceptable offer. Prospective vendors shall provide transitional housing services to Federal defendants/offenders, including narcotic and sex offenders. The vendor shall provide these services as outline in the RFQ. The period of performance shall be January 1 through September 30, 2011. Services are to be performed within 10 miles of the San Bernardino US Probation Office, located at 290 N "D" St, Ste 700, San Bernardino, CA 92401-1705.
