Description

The VA Medical Center West Haven Connecticut, intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with Talyst Inc. for the installation of upgrade equipment for a Talyst OS-PAC 400SL. It is necessary to secure the installation of this equipment by an authorized representative of Talyst Inc. to ensure the continued operation of the upgraded system and warranty. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All proposals received by 4:30 P.M. Eastern Time, December 14th, 2010, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice is subject to availability of funds. Please note that this is not a Request for Proposal and does not constitute a solicitation or a commitment by the Government to later publish a solicitation. This announcement is not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation document is available and telephone inquires will not be honored; however interested parties may submit literature detailing how their services meet the VA requirements to the Purchasing Agent. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries will only be accepted in writing by mail, or by facsimile at (802) 296-5103.
