G-Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services - Miami, Florida - RFQ-TDAT- 042-11 Federal Bureau of Prisons/Contracting Office 20 Hobo Fork Road Natchez, Ms 39120 Description The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from a sources to provide outpatient drug abuse intake assessments / report; mental health individual, family and group counseling, psychiatric evaluation/report, and medication monitoring services in Miami, Florida for male and female inmates residing in a residential reentry center or on home confinement. Federal Regulations 18 U.S.C. 3621 (e), The violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act (VCCLEA), 550.56 Community Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment Program (TDAT) mandates the Bureau to provide these service sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services and mental health treatment services, within 5 miles radius of 100 -199 N. W. 29th Street, Miami, FL 33127 and location where services are to be provided must be accessible to local public transportation (if available). The contractor must maintain a "Spanish " speaking/bi-lingual counselor on staff at all times to meet the needs of the inmate population. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period estimated to begin on March 01, 2011 with four (4) one-year option periods, with service ending (if all options years are renewed) on September 30, 2016. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively.
