Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W91YTV-11-T-0044. This acquisition is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-46. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal applies to this acquisition. Quotations for Substitute Items must be accompanied by full technical specifications to allow for technical evaluation by the end user. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is: 334510; the Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3845; and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is unrestricted. U.S. Army Aeromedical Center, Fort Rucker, AL, has a requirement for the following: Item No. 0001: One (01), Each, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) System, Medical Equipment Grade, rated for 100 KVA/90 kW, 3 phase, 3 wire, 480 volt input, 480 volt output including following specs: 95.6% full load efficiency and 94% efficient @ 20% load; specifically designed for medical equipment high inrush conditions; voltage regulation better than 1% during 150% step conditions; 5th Generation Carrier Storage Trench Bipolar Transistors; DSP based control logic, fault memory and diagnostics, and menu control; maximum 3% reflected input current THD at full load (5% at 50% load); Static Transfer Bypass Switch; Automatic input current walk-in; automatic UPS restart and load pick-up; excellent response to 150% step load conditions without the use of batteries; Feed Forward Control and Voltage Major Loop Control; Module control circuitry utilizes Digital Signal Processor (DSP) and Application Specified IC (ASIC) creating advanced controllability and simplifies the control circuit; UPS Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) or 140,000 hours or 15.9 years; programmable external customer contacts; Microprocessor Monitoring and Control; Redundant Design Control logic; must include matching Battery Cabinet with 10 Minute battery back up at 100 KVA; must include Maintenance Bypass Cabinet which allows for complete wrap around the UPS module to assure MRI operation; must include Remote Alarm Status Panel (RSAP). Price must include check test and start up supervision of the UPS system. Scope of Work to include electrical installation; install electrical to new Ductless mini split AC (208V, single phase). Install ductless mini split to include appropriate fees, licenses and permits for work; furnish and install (1) 2-ton ductless mini split (wall mount); type "ACR" copper for the refrigerant system; pipe supports as required; thermal insulation and aluminum jacket on suction line; hoisting, rigging and scaffolding as required; clean up of identifiable debris. The UPS must be provided with a full 3-year warranty. The batteries must be covered by a one year full parts and labor warranty; parts only warranty for the 2nd and 3rd years, and a 7 year parts only pro-rata warranty. The AC warranty must be 1 year parts and labor, years 2-5 parts only; compressor 2-7 years. Check, test, and start up supervision are required. UNIT PRICE $__________, TOTAL CLIN $__________. Quote all or none. Quote Brand or Equal. Estimated Date of Delivery is 11 January 2011. The delivery terms will be for all material to be delivered per the details above.. The preferred shipping method is FOB destination. Offeror shall indicate on their price quote if shipping method will be other than FOB Destination.
