Description: This item is a shutoff valve used in the aircraft anti-icing incorporating engine bleed air. Dimensions: 18 in wide X 12 in in diameter. Weight: 14lbs. Material: Nickel alloy. This requirement is restricted to Whittaker Controls Incorporated in accordance with FAR 6.3021(b)(2). Tinker AFB engineering document MQR-1; Qualification Requirements for Manufacture of Critical Safety Items" applies to any contractors interested in becoming a qualified source. The solicitation will be posted approximately on 30 December 2010.
