- Procurement Office: U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Headquarters Procurement Operations Division (3803R) 1200 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20460 Response Date: December 22, 2010 12:00 p.m. ET This is a sources sought notice for written information only. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or reimburse the costs incurred by potential offerors in providing the information requested herein. In preparation for an upcoming procurement, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Water is conducting market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 to determine potential sources to assist in the tasks outlined in the draft Statement of Work (SOW) below. The Government envisions awarding a single award for this requirement using FAR Part 13--Simplified Acquisition Procedures to a qualified small business. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR TECHNICAL OR COST PROPOSALS. This is a request for interested small businesses (including 8(a), Veteran-Owned Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, HUBZone Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business and Women-Owned Small Business concerns) to submit a brief capability statement demonstrating how they are able to meet the requirements in the draft Statement of Work (SOW) below. Submissions shall be limited to no more than eight (8) pages. Standard brochures and paraphrasing of the SOW will not be considered a sufficient response to this notice. EPA is interested in capability statements from small businesses, with specific attention to SDVOSBs to help meet Agency socio-economic goals. Capability statements should include the following: Name of vendor Contact information (address, telephone, facsimile, e-mail) Type of small business and demonstration of small business status and applicable NAICS code Relevant past peformance conducting similar tasks Technical description outlining capabilities in meeting the requirements of the SOW The Government intends to consider all comments and the responsive capability statements when developing its final acquisition strategy. Interested parties shall submit an electronic copy of the requested information to Brittaney Robinson and Kami Nolte via the e-mail llinks below by the response date and time. No feedback will be provided regarding individual capabilities statements. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and/or any follow-up information requests.
