- SECOND NOTICE The Fort Drum Northern Regional Contracting Office (NRCO), Medical Activity (MEDDAC) Contracting Cell will hold Industry Days on 6 and 7 Jan 2011, for professional medical service providers to familiarize themselves with Fort Drum, the MEDDAC mission, and the local area. This is intended to identify business/revenue opportunities, increase vendor interest in our required medical services, and increase future vendor participation in upcoming contracting opportunities in the northern New York area. ALL INTERESTED FIRMS ARE URGED TO ATTEND. To support our mission, we contract for a variety of professional medical services. EXAMPLES OF MEDICAL SERVICES NEEDED ARE: Behavioral Health Specialists, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Psychiatric Nurses, Family Practice Physicians, Neurologists, Neuropsychologists, Psychiatrists, and Substance Abuse Counselors. Other opportunities include providing an off-post privately operated medical clinic. The NRCO Mission is to provide quality contracting support that is responsive to today's health care requirements as we prepare for changes in contracting demands to support the health care environment of the future. Our Vision is to be the premier, cost effective Health Care Contracting organization providing high quality and responsive contracting support to the Military Health Care System. To maximize participation each business will be allotted 3 attendees. Registration will close at 4:00 PM on Monday, December 20, 2010. Walk-ins will not be permitted. The registration website is https://www.etouches.com/FortDrumIndustryDay The Industry Day will be held at the Commons on Fort Drum, address: Building P-4350, Corner of Po Valley and 2'nd Street, Fort Drum, NY. Attendees will be required to provide the following to gain access to Fort drum - ID, car registration and insurance card. Directions will be provided upon request. Check-in will start at 7:30 AM with presentations beginning at 8:00 AM. A working lunch Q&A session will be held from 11:20 AM - 12:20 PM, with lunch provided by the Government. Bus transportation will be available for afternoon tours of Fort Drum and the community. The bus tours will start at approximately 1230 and will return attendees to The Commons at approximately 1615. All attendees participating in the tours must ride on the provided bus transportation and not in their own personal/rental vehicles.
