Description
The National Park Service issued a concession prospectus on November 1, 2010 for traditional bathing and massage therapy at Hot Springs National Park. A site visit will take place on Friday, January 21, 2011 from 3:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Potential Offerors will have the opportunity to tour the Concession Facilities and view the current operations. For travel information and reservations, please contact Administrative Officer Betty Spafford, Hot Springs National Park at (501)623-2824no later than noon, Friday, January 14, 2011. The National Park Service is also extending the solicitation period to March 25, 2011. Proposals to the prospectus, initially due on February 18, 2011, are now due no later than March 25, 2011 by 4:00 p.m. (Central Time). Any offer, including that of the existing Concessioner, must be received by the Concession Program Manager, National Park Service, Midwest Regional Office, 601 Riverfront Drive, Omaha, Nebraska 68102 by this date in order to be evaluated and considered for award of this concession contract. The National Park Service is also extending the date questions are due from January 7, 2011, to February 11, 2011. Specific directions for asking questions can be found in the Proposal Instructions, Section 5, of the Prospectus. Prospectus packages are available by contacting Tracy Simmons, Concessions Management Specialist, Midwest Regional Office, National Park Service, 601 Riverfront Drive, Omaha, Nebraska 68102. Telephone inquiries may be directed to 402-661-1750. There is a printing cost recovery charge of $25 per copy to be delivered via Federal Express, or $20 per copy if picked up in person at the above address. Checks or money orders (no cash or credit accepted) must be payable to the National Park Service; and must include a business address (no post office box) to receive a Federal Express package. A Tax Identification Number (TIN) or Social Security Number (SSN) must be provided on all checks.
