Description: The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) anticipates awarding a contract modification to Northrop Gruman Systems Corporation, Sperry Marine (NGSC-SM), N00024-10-D-5227. This contract modification requirement is for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) of four (4) Ring Laser Gyrocompasses (RLG). Northrop Gruman Systems is the original equipment manufacturer and sole supplier of the inertial navigation systems. It is the only company that possesses the design, data, and expertise necessary to provide the supplies within the time required to meet the Navy 冱 requirements. No other source has the technical qualifications and the necessary resources to perform the work described herein. The contract modification will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Anticipated award is December 2010 with delivery FY 2012.
