Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta, GA, the Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN 7) is soliciting bids for services to provide Accreditation of the Department of Veteran Affairs facilities ™ Human Research Protection Programs (HRPPs), managed by Veterans Health Administration, 810 Vermont Ave, NW, Washington, DC 20420. Performance must begin on or about 1 June 2011. This contract includes a base year (1 June 2011 “ 31 May 2012), plus four (4) one year renewal options that may be exercised at the discretion of the Government. This solicitation is issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13, 15. The Government expects to award a Firm Fixed Price contract, based on best value in accordance with FAR Clause 52.212-2. Request for offer will only be accepted from responsible businesses currently engaged in this type of commerce. The solicitation RFP VA-247-11-RP-0007 will be advertised and available for bidding on the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about January 31, 2011 as a 100% Unrestricted Open Market. NAICS code for this requisition is 541990 with a small business size of $7 million. Interested offerors may obtain an electronic copy of the solicitation free at the URL address.
