- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services and mental health treatment services for male and female inmates. The location of services are to be within Dayton, Ohio city limits. The contract period shall consist of one 12-month base year and four 12-month option years for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government and all quantities are estimated for the Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) services. The estimated services for the base year and each option year are as follows. (All sessions will equal 30 minutes in duration): Base Year: Estimated number of inmates 25, Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 25 inmates; Individual Counseling Sessions for 16 sessions x 25 inmates = 400 sessions; Group Counseling Sessions for 52 sessions x 25 inmates = 1,300 sessions; Mental Health Intake, 1 per inmate x 3 inmates = 3 each; Individual Mental Health Counseling Sessions for 24 sessions x 4 inmates = 96 sessions; Group Mental Health Counseling Sessions for 24 sessions x 4 inmates = 96 sessions; Psychiatric Health Intake Assessment & Report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 1 inmate; Medication Monitoring (2 each per inmate) for 4 inmates; Option Year 1: Estimated number of inmates 26, Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 26 inmates; Individual Counseling Sessions for 16 sessions x 26 inmates = 416 sessions; Group Counseling Sessions for 52 sessions x 26 inmates = 1,352 sessions; Mental Health Intake, 1 per inmate x 4 inmates = 4 each; Individual Mental Health Counseling Sessions for 24 sessions x 5 inmates = 120 sessions; Group Mental Health Counseling Sessions for 24 sessions x 5 inmates = 120 sessions; Psychiatric Health Intake Assessment & Report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 1 inmate; Medication Monitoring (2 each per inmate) for 5 inmates; Option Year 2: Estimated number of inmates 27, Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 27 inmates; Individual Counseling Sessions for 16 sessions x 27 inmates = 432 sessions; Group Counseling Sessions for 52 sessions x 27 inmates = 1,404 sessions; Mental Health Intake, 1 per inmate x 5 inmates = 5 each; Individual Mental Health Counseling Sessions for 24 sessions x 6 inmates = 144 sessions; Group Mental Health Counseling Sessions for 24 sessions x 6 inmates = 144 sessions; Psychiatric Health Intake Assessment & Report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 1 inmate; Medication Monitoring (2 each per inmate) for 6 inmates; Option Year 3: Estimated number of inmates 28, Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 28 inmates; Individual Counseling Sessions for 16 sessions x 28 inmates = 448 sessions; Group Counseling Sessions for 52 sessions x 28 inmates = 1,456 sessions; Mental Health Intake, 1 per inmate x 6 inmates = 6 each; Individual Mental Health Counseling Sessions for 24 sessions x 7 inmates = 168 sessions; Group Mental Health Counseling Sessions for 24 sessions x 7 inmates = 168 sessions; Psychiatric Health Intake Assessment & report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 1 inmate; Medication Monitoring (2 each per inmate) for 7 inmates; Option Year 4: Estimated number of inmates 29, Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 29 inmates; Individual Counseling Sessions for 16 sessions x 29 inmates = 464 sessions; Group Counseling Sessions for 52 sessions x 29 inmates = 1,508 sessions; Mental Health Intake, 1 per inmate x 7 inmates = 7 each; Individual Mental Health Counseling Sessions for 24 sessions x 8 inmates = 192 sessions; Group Mental Health Counseling Sessions for 24 sessions x 8 inmates = 192 sessions; Psychiatric Health Intake Assessment & Report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 1 inmate; Medication Monitoring (2 each per inmate) for 8 inmates; The services above shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work (June 2010 No Master's Required), Revised July 2010 Northeast Region. The request for quotation will be available on or after December 29, 2010 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The estimated closing date is on or about January 28, 2011. The solicitation will be unrestricted. All responsible business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract.
