Description

The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS) issued a sole source award using commercial and simplified acquisition procedures for 20 cases of Mycobactosel L-J Medium Slants and 20 cases of Bactec MGIT barcoded 7 ml tubes to be used at the National Veterinary Services Laboratory in Ames, IA. The award will be made to Becton Dickinson & Company, located in Sparks, MD. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Numbered Note 22 applies.
