Description
The purpose of this Amendment is to provide additional information on the delivery location. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS FOR SECURITY CONTAINERS 1.Question: Is there a loading dock where the delivery will take place? Answer: Yes, there is a loading dock. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Reference number is W912HQ-11-T-0006 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43. The closing date of this synopsis/solicitation is 29 Dec 2010 at 12:00 P.M. EDST. The requirement is set aside for small business and the associated NAICS code is 423420. Contract Line Items: Line Item 0001 - Alpha Class 6 5-Drawer Legal Size, Multi-Lock-Gray (Quantity = 4) Line Item 0002 - Delivery Description: Four (4) GSA approved Security Containers (Class 6) are needed Background: The USACE G2 (CECO-I) is required to protect classified material per numerous DOD, DA, and USACE policies, directives and regulations. Security containers currently in CECO-I area are not GSA approved for the storage of classified material and must be replaced. Scope: Provide and deliver security containers, as described in Deliverables. Task Requirements: All products must meet the minimum specifications of the product types as identified in the Deliverables section below. Contractor does not have the option of providing alternate equipment with equivalent specifications. Deliverables: Four (4) GSA approved Security Containers (Class 6). Each security container will have five (5) legal-size drawers with the outside dimensions of 57 "H x 19 "W x 28"D and the inside drawer dimensions are 10 "H x 15 "W x 24 3/4"D. Each safe will be of a Multi-lock Design and Gray in color (7110-01-029-0389). Each drawer will be secured by an X-09 combination lock. The X-09 is light gray in color and is approved under Federal Specification FF-L-2740A for securing classified material. Each X-09 lock will be set to the default combination (50-25-50).
