- Special Notice-Sole Source Bureau of Land Management, Department of the Interior, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Mountainaire Animal Clinic to provide Veterinarian care for the Wild Horse and Burro Program at the Rock Springs Wild Horse Holding Facility. This procurement is a sole source requirement and is not a solicitation or a request for competitive proposal. Determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. MST on Dec 21, 2010 by sending an e-mail to Carla_Fiedor@blm.gov; however, any technical data received will be for the sole purpose of market research for future proposes.
