Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.603 Streamlined solicitation for commercial items as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is subject to the Service Contract Act and Prevailing Wage rates determined by the United States Department of Labor. 6. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-40. 7. This action is being set aside for small business participation. 8. BID SCHEDULE: Installation of Traffic Gates and Message Signs1 Job UNIT PRICE: $____________ Specifications: Traffic gates to control entrance to sensitive restricted areaGates have traffic counters capable of a total count of entering and exiting vehicles to maintain a maximum number of public vehiclesTraffic counter transmits information to LED message sign in real timeKeypad or card swipe capability for NPS to use gates without impacting traffic counts for public vehiclesMessage signs no larger than 96"x 48" amber lights, with associated software to handle traffic count information sent from traffic counterMessage signs capable of two additional lines of programmable information from pre-set messages or new information added as neededMessage signs are wireless and can receive/transmit signal up to 5 milesComplete Scope of work attached.Also PDF files of Gate Message sign locations available Ish Ennis 410-629-6062 Award shall be made to the offeror whose quote offers the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer to the Government.
