Description
This synopsis is to notify interested manufacturers that the NSNs listed below will be added to the United Technologies Corporation, Pratt & Whitney Military Engines, corporate contract, SPM400-01-D-9405. NSN PART NUMBER NOUN BEQ AMC Rmks 2840-01-448-7032NZ 4083237-01 Seal, Aircraft Eng 196 1C 761 expires 25 Aug 14 2840-01-448-7540NZ 4083210 Case, Acft Eng Turbine 100 2C 761 exp 24 Sep 15 2840-01-377-3510NZ 4080545-01 Case, Acft Eng Compressor 194 2C 761 exp 16 Sep 11 This sources sought synopsis is to allow interested manufacturers the opportunity to submit Source Approval Request (SAR) packages for those NSNs that the Government would have technical data/drawings for and has assigned Qualification Requirements (QRs) for. These NSNs are identified as such by having a "1C" or "2C" coding under the AMC column on the attached listing. The Government does not have all the rights to technical data/drawings for those NSNs with a "3" or "4" in the AMC column. Interested sources will need to contact the public sales office for technical data/drawings if they are interested in purchansing the applicable technical data. The public sales office for technical data may be contacted by submitting an e-mail to: 558cbss.gbhba.psd@tinker.af.mil. Qualification Requirements are applicable to these NSNs; therefore, potential offerors will need to obtain a copy of the QRs by contacting the Strategic Alternate Source Program Office (SASPO) office by submitting an e-mail to: 429scms.saspo@tinker.af.mil. The subject line of the e-mail should reflect "Request for QR's applicable to NSN ___________". The completed SAR package for a particular NSN will need to be submitted to: DLA OKLAHOMA CITY, DLR PROCUREMENT OPS, DSCR-ZBB, 3001 STAFF DR STE 2AG1-109B, TINKER AFB, OK 73145-3070. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty five-days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 734-8253. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS. Request for Written Quotation will be issued. Only written or faxed request received directly from the requestors are acceptable. The anticipated award date will be 60 days after the issuance of this notice.
