RFQ HSHQEC-10-Q-00009 SF30 Amendment 000005 SERVICE AND LOCATION: PREVENTATIVE AND CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRONIC SECURITY SYSTEMS (ESS) AT THE RONALD REAGAN BUILDING, AND IN SUPPORT OF CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION (CBP) AGENCY OCCUPIED SPACE LOCATED WITHIN THE RONALD REAGAN BUILDING, 1300 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, NW, WASHINGTON, D.C AND CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION AGENCY OCCUPIED SPACE LOCATED WITHIN THE EPA WEST BUILDING, 1301 CONSTITUTION AVENUE, NW, WASHINGTON, D.C.. Amendment 000005 is issued to incorporate the following changes posted in www.fedbizopps.gov into Request for Quote (RFQ) HSHQEC-10-Q-00009: 1) THE RFQ SCOPE OF WORK DATED JANUARY 4, 2010, REVISED SEPTEMBER 30, 2010 IS DELETED IN ITS ENTIRETY AND REPLACED WITH THE ATTACHED SCOPE OF WORK REVISED NOVEMBER 17, 2010. 2) RONALD REAGAN BUILDNG ELECTRONIC SECURITY SYSTEM MAINTENANCE POSITION DESCRIPTIONS ARE INCORPORATED INTO THE RFQ AS AN ATTACHMENT TO AMENDMENT 000005. 3) A SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED FOR 9:30AM, JANUARY 6, 2011 AT THE CUSTOM AND BORDER PROTECTION OCCUPIED SPACE AT EPA WEST BUILDING, 1301 CONSTITUTION AVENUE, NW, WASHINGTON, D.C. Vendors are instructed to provide the name of vendor representatives who will be attending the site visit to the Contracting Officer by email at desiree.blakey@dhs.gov no later than 4:00 p.m., Tuesday January 4, 2011. In Accordance with FAR 52.237-1, "SITE VISIT" (APR 1984) Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. 4) THE DUE DATE FOR RECEIPT OF QUOTES IS EXTENDED UNTIL 4:00PM, EASTERN STANDARD TIME, MONDAY, JANUARY 24, 2011. 5) ADDITIONAL SUPPLEMENTAL FACILITY INFORMATION IS INCORPORATED INTO RFQ HSHQEC-10-Q-00009 BY AMENDMENT 000005 AND WILL BE DISSEMINATED TO INTERESTED PARTIES BY EMAIL REQUEST TO THE CONTRACTING OFFICER AT desiree.blakey@dhs.gov. 6) A revised schedule of prices is incorporated into RFQ HSHQEC-10-Q-00009 by amendment 000005. 7) FAR 52.216-18 ORDERING (OCTOBER 1995) outlined on Page 17, Paragraph (a) of "SOLICITATION/CONTRACT FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS" revises the anticipated contract period of performance as follows: Base Period - May 1, 2011 through April 30, 2012 Option I Period - May 1, 2012 through April 30, 2013 Option II Period - May 1, 2013 through April 30, 2014 Option III Period - May 1, 2014 through April 30, 2015 Option IV Period - May 1, 2015 through April 30, 2016 8) Quote Submission Requirements outlined on Page 29, Paragraph 1, of "SOLICITATION/CONTRACT FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS" is revised to read as follows: Using the provided space with the Pricing Schedule, the contractor must submit its indirect cost associated with MAINTENANCE TRANSACTION FUND CLINS 0013 THROUGH 0018. The following amounts for material, plus quoted indirect cost, shall be utilized for evaluation purposes in determining the total estimated amount of the contract: Material - Purchase of equipment or repair components Base Period $60,000.00 (NTE) Option Period One $60,000.00 (NTE) Option Period Two $60,000.00 (NTE) Option Period Three $60,000.00 (NTE) Option Period Four $60,000.00 (NTE) IN ADDITION, RESPONSES TO VENDOR QUESTIONS ARE INCLUDED AS AN ATTACHMENT TO AMENDMENT 000005.
