- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst intends to award a modification to the Blanket Ordering Agreement (BOA) Order N68335-10-G-0007-0001 awarded on a sole source basis to Bell Boeing Joint Project Office (JPO), Amarillo, Texas 79120. The procurement is for the manufacture of two additional Tube Bend Machines and Tube Bender Tool Sets to support the V-22 Aircraft at the intermediate level of maintenance. The Government intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1) as cited in FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Reasonable Source", therefore, a solicitation is not available for this procurement. Bell-Boeing is the only source possessing the requisite system knowledge, engineering expertise, and technical data needed to integrate the required PSE with the rest of the V-22 aircraft. A determination not to open the requirement to competition, based upon the response(s) to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
