- The VA Northern Indiana Health Care System is seeking the services of a qualified Architectural/Engineering (A/E) firm to provide all labor, material, equipment, and expert supervision necessary to conduct an Arc Flash Study at the VA Medical Center located at 1700 E. 38th Street Marion, Indiana 46953 and VA Medical Center located at 2121 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805: The A/E will, by use of investigative site visits and researching existing engineering documents, provide a comprehensive evaluation of all existing HVAC environmental features of the Clean Supply Rooms for compliance with environmental requirements noted above and prepare a report detailing each room's compliance/noncompliance and in cases of compliance how the room is compliant and in cases of noncompliance, recommendations to bring the room into compliance. After consultation and concurrence with VA staff the A/E will provide design services for complete working drawings, cost estimates, specifications and construction period services necessary for preparation of a construction project to remediate deficiencies and bring the noncompliant rooms into compliance. Interested firms are required to submit: two (2) copies of Standard Form (SF) 330 (available at http://www.gsa.gov/forms), Part 1 and Part 2 to the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Attn: Robert O. Nash (90C), 2121 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne, IN 46805, no later than 4:30 p.m. (Local Time), January 18, 2011. This requirement is set aside for Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns. A/E Cost Range: $25,000 - $100,000. Estimated Construction: $298,000.
