Description

VISN 6 CAS will issue on or about January 11, 2011 RFP VA-246-11-RP-0006, Furnish and Install High Efficiency Heating Systems, Various Buildings (Design/Build). Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation, qualified supervision, and design services to perform work for project 658-10-109. Work includes, but is not limited to, HVAC and electrical engineering design, piping demolition, pipefitting, boiler installations, electrical work, HVAC control work, necessary removal of existing structures and construction. All work, including final cleanup and completion of all punchlist items, shall be performed within one hundred eighty (180) calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The government will not accept a shorter schedule. The government anticipates award without discussions. NAICS 238220 - Plumbing, Heating and Air-Conditioning Contractors, with a small business size standard of $14M applies to this procurement. The procurement is set-aside to qualified service-disabled, veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB). Offers from other than SDVOSB firms shall not be accepted. A pre-proposal conference will be held approximately two weeks after the issuance of the solicitation. The exact date, time, and location of the conference will be specified in the solicitation. There will be no public opening of the proposals. The estimated dollar amount of this procurement is between $250,000 - $500,000.
