- Description
- The Defense Information Systems Agency/Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DISA/DITCO)-Scott AFB, IL anticipates release of the Final RFP - HC1028-10-R-2000 - GIG Service Management Operations (GSM-O) on or about 13 January 2011. DISA/DITCO intends to award a single Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract using full and open competition in conjunction with the policies and procedures prescribed in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation for the day-to-day operations and sustainment of the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN) and its Global Information Grid (GIG) networks and related services. The Final RFP and all related documents will be posted at this site. Instructions for submitting questions and proposals will be given at the time the solicitation is released. Contractors will be given 60 days for preparation of proposals from the posting date of the Final RFP. Past Performance questionnaires will be due no later than the date indicated on the past performance document. The National American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) codes for this procurement are redesignated as 517110-Wired Telecommunications Carriers and 514513 - Computer Facilities Management Services. The resulting award will be Best Value Trade-Off, with non-cost factors being significantly more important than cost. The period of performance for the GSM-O will include a base period of three years and two, two-year option periods for a total life-cycle of seven years. Services will be required on a world-wide basis. If at anytime the Government determines that the requested services are no longer required, the Government reserves the right to not make an award. NOTE: The Draft RFP currently on the FedBizOpps site (to include amendments and attachments) will be removed/deleted in its entirety and replaced with the Final RFP documentation.
