- The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, a United States government corporation and agency of the United States was created under Title IV of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) to administer the federal pension insurance programs and enforce compliance with the provisions of Title IV. The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) has a requirement for Enterprise Architecture Support services. The tasks to be performed under this Full & Open requirement include, but are not limited to: i) providing program management support services, ii) maintaining technical standards and providing governance services, iii) supporting development and maintenance of the High Level Architecture and Transition Strategy, and iv) and other tasks that will be listed in the forthcoming solicitation. The synopsis is a notification that this requirement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 541519 with a Small Business Standard size of $25 million. The anticipated IDIQ contract has a period of performance of a base period of twelve (12) months and three (3) option periods consisting of twelve (12) months each. In order to be eligible for award, all responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Contractors may register online at the website, www.ccr.gov. The solicitation and any amendments will be available through the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website, www.fbo.gov. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about November 4, 2010. The anticipated award date is on or about March 1, 2011. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO website to ensure that the most up to date information is accessed. Paper copies of the solicitation and any amendments will not be distributed. Upon issuance of the solicitation, there will be an identified question and answer period.
