This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-45 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; This Request for Quotation is 100% Set-Aside for Small Businesses. NAICS Code 423610 “ Electrical Apparatus and Equipment, Wiring Supplies, and Related Equipment Merchant Wholesalers - Size Standard 500 employees applies. The intended result of this effort is the award of a Firm-Fixed-Price contract. The government reserves the right to make one, multiple, or no awards resulting from this solicitation. A firm-fixed-price purchase order is the intended result of this effort. CLIN 0001: (1) each, Electrical Motor, Lincoln Motor P/N LM27860AA - Totally Enclosed, Fan Cooled Rated for 400hp continuous, 600hp intermittent - 460 VAC, 3 phase electriciy, 60Hz, 449TS Frame - Variable torque 0-450rpm, Constant torque 450 “ 1800rpm, Constant Hp 1800 “ 2700rpm - Base speed of 1755 rpm and over speed capability 3,600 rpm - Overload capacity is rated 150% at a duty cycle of 10% (10 sec per every 100 sec) CLIN 0002: (1) each, Installation & Removal -Remove existing motor & install new motor and ensure that it ™s properly aligned, balanced & start-up test. CLIN 0003: (1) each, Tear Down & Evaluate (TDE) Old Electric Motor, Lincoln Motor P/N LM27860AA DELIVERABLE: The Contractor shall provide a technical data report on all damages and an itemized list of parts, labor, and materials required to repair/rebuild the Electric Motor. NOTE: The Government will determine the cost effectiveness of repairing the Electric Motor from the Contractor's findings. The Contractor must receive written authorization to commence repairs prior to starting the work of rebuilding the motor.
