- Description
- The Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR) intends to pursue a competitive Firm Fixed Price (FFP) acquisition under Solicitation Number N68936-11-R-0023 for the supplies and services necessary to deliver two (2) MSU-170B/E (-3 configuration) guided missile stands and one (1) lot of MSU-170B/E subassemblies. This action will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The MSU-170B/E (-3 configuration) guided missile stand is used for assembly/disassembly of HARM All Up Round sections during maintenance. The stand is also used to set-up HARM from testing. The selected contractor will be responsible for the correction of unknown discrepancies found once the stand/subassembly is put to use by NAVAIR. This includes, but is not limited to, replacement, repair, refurbishment, modification and other support functions. This solicitation will include a First Article Testing clause. The desired delivery date is 16 July 2011 for the base quantity of two (2) complete stands and one (1) lot of subassemblies as called for in the solicitation. Two option line items of one (1) complete stand each may be exercised within one year of the base quantity. Delivery will be FOB Destination to Pt. Mugu, CA. The solicitation document contains technical drawings that have been designated as "Militarily Critical Technical Data." Only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, and have a valid requirement may have a copy of the technical data package (TDP). All requests for copies of the TDP must include a certified copy of form DD 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement. To obtain certification, contact: Commander, Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS), ATTN: U.S./Canada Joint Certification Office, 74 Washington Ave., North, Battle Creek, MI 49017-3084 or call DLIS at (800) 352-3572. The DLIS U.S./Canada Joint Certification Lookup is available via Internet at http://www.dlis.dla.mil/ccal. The TDP also contains technical data whose export is restricted by the Arms Export Control Act (Title 22, U.S.C., AEC 2751 ET SEQ) or the Export Administration Act of 1979, as amended (Title 50, U.S.C., APP 2401 ET SEQ). Requests for a copy of the TDP shall be made to the Contract Specialist. All responsible sources must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by NAVAIR. The Government anticipates selecting for award that offeror determined to be most advantageous to the Government based on a best value evaluation. This synopsis is for information purposes only.
