Description

1. DLA Aberdeen hereby issues a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about January 3, 2011 for BB-2001A/U CSEL Rechargeable Battery NSN:6140-01-534-3856, P/N 4866112-007 and J-6769A/P Adapter NSN:5940-01-544-3476 with an approved Boeing source. The BB-2001A/U battery was designed for powering the CSEL Radio AN/PRQ-7. The adapter was designed for use in the PP-8498/U Battery charger. This Procurement will result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The NAICS code for this item is 335911. This RFP is issued under the other than Full and Open Competition Procedures IAW FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract instument is a Long Term Contract. 2. ACCELERATED DELIVERY AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE GOVERNMENT IS ACCEPTED AND ENCOURAGED. 3. TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARD, ALL OFFERORS MUST SUBMIT DOCUMENTATION EVIDENCING THEY CAN, IN FACT, SUPPLY THE ARMY WITH THESE ITEMS FROM THE MANUFACTURER LISTED ABOVE. EXAMPLES OF SUCH DOCUMENTATION COULD INCLUDE A PURCHASE ORDER OR STATEMENT FROM THE MANUFACTURER. 4. DELIVERY WILL BE TO DSCC NEW CUMBERLAND ARMY DEPOT 7002 IN NEW CUMBERLAND, PA. This is a full and open competition requirement.
