Description
The purpose of this amendment is to extend the deadline for One-On-One Meeting Requests to 4 PM Arizona Time on 10 January 2010 and to provide further information regarding the One-On-One Meetings. The purpose of the One-On-One Meetings is to gain information on new ways to structure the wireless agreements with the intention of reducing costs for both the Government and vendors through more efficient processes and contract consolidation. These meetings are also intended to be a platform for potential offerors to explain their capabilities with regards to the PWS and the below topics. Meetings shall be held in one (1) hour increments. If the potential offeror is confirmed for the Pre-Solicitation Conference/Industry Day; has carefully reviewed the requirements of the PWS; feels as though they can meet all of the requirements, and have formally scheduled a One-On-One Meeting with the Government during the conference, the offeror will be prepared to discuss the following topics: --Transition to a New Agreement (Topic to be covered by current BPA Holders): 1) Discuss approaches that would be taken to transition users from the current agreements to the new agreements; 2) Discuss timing and Army/Air Force resources required for the transition 3) Discuss concerns and challenges with the transition to new agreements --Website Capabilities 1) Discuss on-line order capabilities 2) Discuss training materials that could be available to support end users, contracting officers and billing representatives 3) Discuss the availability of electronic Service Enabled Device manuals as well as for ordering, billing, and payment functions 4) Discuss other potential on-line help materials 5) Discuss on-line bill review capabilities 6) Discuss on-line bill payment capabilities --Paperless Billing 1) Discuss how moving to paperless billing would change your operations and the way you interact with the Army and Air Force customers 2) Discuss formatting capabilities for paperless bills (e.g. PDF, XLS, CVS, etc.) 3) Discuss electronic delivery capabilities for paperless bills including the ability to deliver via secure means (e.g. FTP, HTTPS, s/mime email attachments, etc.) 4) Discuss the impact of incorrect electronic contact information and the process to resolve those problems --Wireless Expense Management (WEM) Portal 1) End-user device activation and inventory management 2) Real-time wireless service usage and cost tracking 3) Invoice review 4) Rate plan review and optimization 5) Contract audit compliance 6) Remote device management 7) Help desk and business case service center support --Small Business Participation 1) Discuss potential opportunities to include small business as a provider of wireless-related goods and services 2) Discuss potential opportunities to leverage Supplier Diversity group to identify opportunities for small business participation --Wireless Service Possibilities 1) Discuss the various levels of networks accessible by your company (i.e. 4G, LTE, WiMax, etc.) 2) Discuss the methods used to track quality assurance on similar large contracts or agreements (i.e. is there a metrics system that is used?) 3) Discuss the possibilities for alerts for individual customers. In other words, is it possible to alert a customer when that customer reaches Overage charges in excess of $500.00 via text message, e-mail, etc.? 4) Discuss the possibility of international coverage through non-U.S. roaming agreements ***NOTE: These topics are no intended to be all inclusive. Offerors are encouraged to discuss other capabilities so long as these topics have been discussed and it is within the alloted time frame.***
