THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Department of Veterans Affairs, is issuing a Source Sought Notice to determine if there are any Service Disabled Veteran- Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Small businesses (SB) that can provide Municipal Solid Waste Refuse and Recycling Collection and Disposal Services for the South Central Veterans Healthcare Network which includes: Houston, Texas (Medical Center and National Cemetery) Fayetteville, Arkansas Jackson, Mississippi Muskogee, Oklahoma The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Codes is 562111 (Size Standard: $12.5 million). The Period of Performance of the Base Year begins on/about April 1, 2011 through September 30, 2011 plus four Option Years. A solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. At this point in the procurement process the VA is performing market research to determine the interest of Service Disable Veterans Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Hubzone Small Business, and Small Disadvantage Businesses (8(a)). Interested firms fitting one or more of the Socio-economic categories should submit their information via email to stephanie.keo@va.gov no later than 2:00 pm Central Standard Time, January 14, 2011. No telephonic calls will be accepted. Information should include: Name of your Company, POC name, phone numbers, email address, CCR/DUNS number, and indicate status i.e. SDVOSD, VOSB, and/or Small Business.
