Description
This contract willprovide engineering services to fabricate and test rain erosion tape forthe F-16 C/D band antenna. This effort is restricted to qualifiedsouces. Current qualified sources are listed below. Item: 0001 Description: ENGINEERING SERVICES, REDESIGN, AND PROTOTYPES OF THE C/DBAND ANTENNA WITH RAIN EROSION TAPE Item: 0002 Description: DATA Supp. Description: The prices are included in the price of theengineering services CLIN 0001. Item: 0003 - Government Purpose Rights to all Technical Data. Item 0003 will be included as an option. Description: Rights in Data (Including Technical Data, ComputerSoftware, and Computer Software Documentation) Supp. Description: Per the FAR, Government purpose rights as defined by DFARS 252.227-7103 Duration of Contract Period: 18 months from data of award Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: INTERNATIONAL ENTERPRISES, INC., TALLADEGA, AL.,35160-1302. To: L-3COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION, MENLO PARK, CA.,94025-1141. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested insubcontracting opportunities in connection with the describedprocurement make contact with the firm(s) listed. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or themanufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award inaccordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies theoffice where additional information can be obtained concerningqualification requirements are cited in each individual solicitation. This part required engineering source approval by the design controlactivity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing uniquedesign capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge bythe qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from theapproved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights,manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economicallyavailable to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential tomaintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualifyin accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approvedby the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualificationprocedures must be approved by the Government engineering activityhaving jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. All responsible sources may submit a capabilitystatement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
