- Extend the due date to Jan 18, 2011. Amend 1, extend the due date to Jan 18, 2011. USAID seeks through this RFI to identify potential sources to provide technical support and to assist the Agency's Grand Challenges for Development initiative (GCD) with developing strategic approaches that target specific development outcomes based on transformational, scalable, and sustainable change. A Grand Challenge for Development (GCD) is not just a statement of a problem, but a definable and quantifiable goal that can be achieved over a specified time frame.
