- The FAA William J. Hughes Technical Center (WJHTC) located at the Atlantic City International Airport, NJ is conducting a market survey to determine if there are Small Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB) (8(a)), Service Disabled Veterans SB, and all other Small Business construction contractors located within 50 miles of the WJHTC to qualify for a Qualified Vendors List (QVL) for future contraction work in areas of general construction, site work and paving, mechanical, electrical, telecommunications and special systems. These procurements will have a dollar threshold between $10,000 and $100,000. Proposals will be reviewed through tiered evaluation selection process. In accordance with AMS policy 3.6.1.3.4 procurements within this dollar threshold will be set a side for SEDB 8 (a). Unless the contracting officer determines there is no competition within the 8 (a) tier the procurement will be opened to Service Disabled Veterans SB tier followed by all other small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes for this requirement is 236220 for General Construction with a size standard of $33.5 million, 238990 for Site Work and Paving with size standard of $14 million, 238220 for Mechanical and Plumbing with a size standard of $14 million, 238210 for Electrical, Telecommunications and Special Systems with a size standard of $14 million. Interested SEDB 8(a), Service Disabled Veterans SB, and all other Small Business construction contractors are asked to electronically submit the attached Business Declaration Form, a copy of the 8(a) certification (if applicable), identify what NAIC codes your business is qualified to perform under and the Past Performance Questionnaire - appendix A to elizabeth.ford@faa.gov no later than 2 p.m. Eastern Standard Time on January 18, 2011. All questions and responses should be submitted via email elizabeth.ford@faa.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. If you are currently on this QVL please send a confirmation letter stating you wish to remain on the QVL along with your most recent 8(a) certifications (if applicable) and an updated copy of the attached Declaration Form. All interested vendors are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to the announcement. Therefore, any costs associated with vendor's submissions will be solely at the interested vendor's expense. Revised January 6, 2011
