- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-37. North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) 561320; size standard is $14M. Reference number R11PS60138, Temporary Journeyman Electrician, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is open for small businesses only. FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items (Jun 2008) paragraph (k) requires all firms or individuals responding to be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at time of contract award and throughout the performance period. To register, please visit http://www.ccr.gov. Offerors shall include a completed copy of provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification -- Commercial Items (Aug 2009) or an indication that reps and certs are located on the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website at http://www.bpn.gov/orca. Your quote must include discount terms, tax identification number, and DUNS number. Quotes are due on January 26th, 2011, 11:00 a.m., MST in order to be considered. Quote submissions may be e-mailed to adawson@usbr.gov or sent via fax to 406-247-7798, attn: Arlene Dawson. The Government anticipates one or more awards of firm-fixed priced purchase order(s) resulting from this RFQ on or about January 28th, 2011. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Region, Billings MT. Duties are to install electrical equipment and wiring for the two RTU cabinets for Big Thompson Power Plant and the Big Thompson Waste Way. This includes Bureau supplied Panduit, terminal strips, power supplies, relays, lights, electrical convenience outlets, fans and Allen Bradley control logic modules in Bureau supplied cabinets. All equipment will be installed plumb and level, and all wires will be labeled and installed in a journeyman manner. All tools and material will be provided by the Bureau. Work will be performed at the Loveland Service Center, 910 S. Van Buren, Loveland CO. Hours of work will be from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. which will include one-half hour lunch period and 15-minute breaks, one at 9:00 a.m. and one at 2:00 p.m. Est Quantity 0001 TEMPORARY JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN 1200 HR $_____________Unit Price $_____________Total Cost The following clauses and provisions apply to this solicitation.
