Description: The Huntington District Corps of Engineers intends to procure a contract for mowing, cleaning, and general operation and maintenance services for J.W. Flannagan Dam and North Fork of Pound River Lake (Dickenson and Wise Counties, Virginia) located near Haysi and Pound, VA. The contract will be a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery type contract, competitively negotiated, NTE $1,750,000. The contract will be awarded for a base year with four additional one year option periods. The contract will be awarded to the offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and has been evaluated as most advantageous to the Government, all factors considered. All responsive proposals will be evaluated utilizing the following technical factors: (A) Experience; (B) Past Performance; (C) Management Plan; and (D) Equipment. Factors A through C are equal in importance and Factor D is significantly less important than A through C. A pre-proposal conference will be held on 3-February-2011 at 10:30 AM EST at the J.W. Flannagan Dam Project Office, 192 White Water Road, Haysi, VA 24256-6359. Solicitation documents will be available on or about 21 January 2011, online at http://www.fbo.gov. To be eligible for contract award, all contractors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR Internet site at http://www.ccr.gov or by contacting the DoD Electronic Commerce Information Center at 1-800-334-3414.
