- Description for Presolicitation Notice for VA-256-11-RP-0193 ER Physician Services: Sources sought notice was released under VA-256-10-RP-0307 Total Small Business Set-aside. The VA Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System, 400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS has a requirement for five (5) FTEs Emergency Room Physicians (on-site) to provide 24 hours/7 days week coverage for the Emergency Room; however, the VA requires that the contractor provide a pool of a total of ten (10) fully credentialed ER Physicians to provide this coverage for the length of the contract. Five is just the minimum that has been used. The proposed contract will be for a base period of TBD through September 30, 2011 with two (2) option years exercised at the Government's discretion. A Requirements Firm Fixed Price with single award is proposed at this time. The NAICS code is 621111 and the small business size is $10.0 million. This acquisition is being issued as a total small business set-aside. The RFP will be available on www.fedbizopps.gov under Department of Veterans Affairs on or around March 18, 2011. Potential offerors are encouraged to use this web site to obtain a copy of the RFP in lieu of requesting a paper copy. Request for paper copies must be in writing and faxed to (228)523-4324 attention: Melanie Grigsby or emailed to Melanie.Grigsby@va.gov. All requests must include the RFP number, requestor's name, address, phone number, fax number, and an email address. By submitting a proposal, the Offeror acknowledges the Government requirement to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of any contract or purchase order. Information about CCR registration may be found at www.ccr.gov. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Evaluation preference points will be given to SDVOSB and VOSB once technical and past performance requirements are met. Award will be made on an all or none basis.
